Anuradhapura

One of Sri Lanka’s oldest cities, Anuradhapura is an important religious site with sacred stupas, monasteries, and the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, a tree grown from a sapling of the original Bodhi tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment.
